With Quick Estimator you choose the skill level you’d prefer for your project:

Economy:

Customer removes all items from room (pictures, fixtures, and furniture and personal items) so the painter can prep it for painting.

Painter prepares surfaces to be painted by dusting and spot cleaning (no repair or sanding).

Ceiling and walls are painted same color using the same latex finishes (no priming).

Room heights of 8 feet or more are not included in the economy level.

If trim is to be painted, it will be lightly sanded, dusted and finished with latex enamel in the same color as the walls.

All other surfaces will be protected from paint spatter using clean tarps or plastic; hardware will not be removed.

Good quality paint will be used, but no warranty will be provided.

Standard:

Customer removes all small items (pictures, fixtures, and personal items) so the painter can prep it for painting. Painter moves all large items to center of the room and covers with a clean tarp.

Nail holes will be filled and openings between ceiling, walls and trim will be caulked.

Painter will sand, repair, dust and spot prime repair areas. Nail pops, cracks or other major repairs must be marked with removable tape by the customer and documented in the contract before job is started.

Ceilings will be painted with flat latex and walls flat, eggshell or satin latex (the same or slightly different colors). Color changes (i.e., between ceiling and wall) will be painted freehand.

If trim is to be painted, it will be lightly sanded, dusted and finished with latex or acrylic enamel (the same or slightly different color than walls).

All other surfaces will be protected from paint spatter using tape and clean tarps or plastic; hardware will not be removed.

A higher quality of paint will be used and a one-year warranty will be provided.

Custom:

Customer removes all small items from room (pictures, fixtures, and personal items) so the painter can prep it for painting. Painter moves all large items to center of the room or into another area and covers them with a clean tarp.

Nail holes will be filled and openings between ceiling, walls and trim will be caulked. Painter will sand, repair, dust and spot prime repair areas. Nail pops, cracks or other major repairs must be marked with removable tape by the customer and documented in the contract before job is started.

Ceilings and walls will be sanded and dusted.

Ceilings will be painted with flat or enameled latex, acrylic or solvent based finish. Walls will be painted using flat, eggshell, satin or semi gloss latex, acrylic or solvent based finishes (can be deep based colors and different color then ceiling). Color changes (i.e., between ceiling and walls) will be either taped or painted freehand for sharp, straight lines.

If trim is to be painted, it will be sanded, dusted, caulked and finished smoothly and free from brush strokes with acrylic or solvent enamel paint (can be different color than walls).

All other surfaces will be protected from paint spatter using tape, clean tarps or plastic; hardware will be removed and reinstalled.

The highest quality of paint will be used and a two-year warranty will be provided.

Testimony

“I just wanted to tell you how valuable your Quick Estimator is. I got the estimate before contacting three contractors and I'm so glad I did because the three quotes I received weren't even close to each other. I ended up picking the contractor that was the closest to your estimate. I will always come to this site before contacting contractors for my painting needs”
